Zekki is based on the 3X10D® life situation indicator, research, and expert knowledge. Zekki.fi is best suited for young people aged approximately 15–25.

Zekki has been co-developed by Diaconia University of Applied Sciences, Mieli Mental Health Finland, Guarantee Foundation, The Martha Association, Family Federation of Finland, Finnish Youth Housing Association NAL, Save the Children Finland, Nuorten Ystävät, Mannerheim League for Child Welfare, Deaconess Foundation’s Vamos, Yeesi, HelsinkiMissio, and EHYT Finnish Association for Substance Abuse Prevention, with support from STEA.

In 2021, the European Innovation Council selected Zekki as the Best Social Innovation in Europe.
